got a call today from social security they said my case was at the last stage and i should be getting a call or letter in the mail it has been 18 months now do you think i was approved?

If you have not gotten a letter yet CALL CALL CALL again and again, It took my husband 3 almot 4 years to finally get our approval, GET A LAWYER also AND you usally get turned down the first time unless you gave them a really really good reason for it as in BLindness or loss of a limb with lots of proof

I would call again, 18 months is a long time... even for the government.

Sounds like something has happened. Call the SS administration office near you and inquired about the status of your case.

you wont know till you get that letter,expect the worst ,it less painful,if its a decline try again,sometimes when you are insistence they comply

i would call the place or go there myself. explain to them what happened and what's wrong
