You'd get a lot more ideas if you'd tell a bit about him... is he 10 or 40? Is he into anything - sports? animals? music? It's hard to shop for someone if you don't know anything about the person. But in general, unique presents are not necessarily ones that can be wrapped in a box - give him a membership to the local zoo or a ride in a hot air balloon or something like that which is available where he lives...
