I just had a car shipped across country (US). I got quotes as high as $1400. I ended up having someone drive it out. It put some miles on my car, but it was being used for much needed transportation.
I can only imagine that shipping to Africa would be much higher than the $1400 quote I received. I'd guess over $10,000.
Furthermore, I hope you do heed the advice of others. Taking this on for someone you don't know sounds like bad news.

Please tell me you did not get wrapped up in one of those sell your car scams. They have been all over the place where they claim to give you way over asking price as long as you pay shipping or some junk. It is bogus and not even worthwhile. The FBI is actually investigating people who do this.
If it is for a legitimate reason then you need to contact a transport company or container company and find out from them. Either by ship or air, air is obviously more expensive but those would be the first places to start.

You would have to ship both by land and by sea. It would have to be one special car to make me want to spend the bucks to ship it that far.
Although, I did see a car driving around Iowa the other day with Puerto Rico license plates....
Exact figures will have to be determined by the shipping company--no way to look up such a complicated shipping charge online for you.

Please tell me you probably did not get wrapped up in a unmarried of those promote your vehicle scams. they have been everywhere the position they declare to furnish you excess of asking cost see you later as you pay delivery or some junk. it truly is bogus and in no way even efficient. The FBI is somewhat investigating those who attempt this. even if it truly is for a valid reason then you favor to the contact a delivery employer or field employer and locate out from them. both by deliver or air, air is for sure extra intense priced yet those may be the first places to initiate.

Lots. And, before you spend the money, better be sure that appropriate fuel (i.e., unleaded) is available there with which to run it. In Saudi Arabia, the standard fuel is leaded, so it is impractical to move a car in either direction between there and the US; I bought one there.

You are better off buying an airplane ticket to Nigeria, book yourself into a nice Hotel/Resort. Then you can hunt for brand new cars there. its probably cheaper to buy it there than it is over here...

Unless the car is a Bugatti, Maybach or Bentley, probably more than the car is worth. :-) It would prpbably ship by container which is expensive
