i came out of a relationship like a week ago, but there is this guy who i knew before and he really wants me, i told him that given the fact that i just came out of a relationship, i would like some time to get rid of my baggages, but he still instead on coming to see me tomorrow, he has to drive 2 hours to see me. what should i do here, i really like him, but i kinda want some time, to deal with my issues

Take some time,if he is ok,he'll listen what you are saying.
Explain to him and tell him:Give me time.

yeah man definetly wait...you can't have a stable relationship if you aren't okay from within.
You have to let yourself heal before moving on, if you start messing around now you'll just confuse yourself and it will be hard to get back into another stable relationship.
It's not a good idea to go party when you have homework to do.

tell him that you want time to get you life on track, and that he needs to respect you wishes, and if he does not then you do not want to have any thing to do with him, be very firm about this and not to bother driving 2 hours to see you as you will not answer the door. He is just trying to manipulate and guilt trip you do not fall for it

This guy sounds creepy, but it may work out if he gave you space.
Put your foot down. Don't spare his feelings. You may not want him NOW but you may want to be with him at a later time, but you HAVE TO put your foot down and tell him to BACK OFF.
The worst thing you can do at this point is to give him mixed signals. Tell him in NO UNCERTAIN TERMS THAT YOU NEED TIME TO RECOVER AND THAT HE SHOULD BACK OFF.
I'm serious when I say that you must NOT SEND MIXED SIGNALS. Guys hate that.
We really do.
The most important thing though for you now is
Give yourself the time to recover.
