my boyfriend loves to write. i was thinking of signing him up for a writing class on how to get your work published.

Depends... If he is very passionate about writing and getting published then yes... This would be an awesome gift... Very good idea
If he just likes to write... then inspiration would a good gift to... You should just get into a car and drive somewhere crazy for a weekend and see what happens... have an adventure.... Go on a quest for the fountain of youth!!!

I would say no. It seems like your telling him he isn't very good with his craft. I don't know how much money you have to spend but I think updating his computer would show him you believe in what's he's doing. You could purchase some book on how to get you work published, that would show him you believe in him

A good idea, but does he usually stick with classes, reading, commitments? What nights to they offer - do they conflict with something he likes to do?
