In our house, Santa always wraps his gifts in wrap that has pictures of Santa on it.

Gifts from us are NOT decorated with pictures of Santa. And, on our gifts, I tie a little angel or snowman or other tie on, near the gift tag. Santa doesn't use tie ons.

We figured Santa wouldn't use the same paper we use, would he?

On the other hand, when I was a kid, Santa used the exact same paper my Mom used. I didn't catch on. Think I was a bit slow.

LOL I love how you put the last sentence!! Santa did the same thing to us when we were young, I didn't catch on either! I think it was a generation thing! LOL!

Santa now uses a different giftwrap than we have in the house. His is always different and can't be found in the gift wrapping box with all of our gift wrapping paper! His is too special! LOL!

Merry Christmas! I hope the kids have fun!!!

We always wrapped our daughters' gifts in more modern paper and Santa wrapped his one special gift in old-fashioned paper. And the elves do wrap presents differently then Mom & Dad...

A great hint: I always started shopping in January at the 75-90% off sales and stocked up on two types of paper at that time: blue/red backgrounds, angels/snowmen, etc., just to make them distinct. I would then buy gifts throughout the year at sales or when I heard a whistful "I wish..." I would immediately take them home and wrap them without a tag - the girls never knew which was "their" paper.

A strong rule: if you see it (or find out about it) before Christmas, you DON'T get it - only took once for little sis to tell big sis about a present and big sis didn't get it. Little sis was SO upset but big sis got the gift on her birthday two weeks later, anyway. They never peeked again!

How funny! I was wrapping presents earlier tonight and my fiance said that we should use some different paper for Santa gifts and I said why? When I was a kid, my mom just told me Santa used our wrapping paper for our gifts nd wrapped them at our house...I think I was a bit slow too....

I use the same gift wrap for Santa as i do for everyone elce because it is much easier to use 1 roll at a time than to have 3 and 4 rolls of paper open and alot easier if you have extra paper too

Look at all the pictures of Santa in his sleigh with his big sack of toys--none are wrapped. You can see a doll or a teddy bear peaking over the top of Santa's bag. My parents never wrapped any presents that Santa left under the tree. (Took me many years to realize that this was a bonus to my parents--less work for them.) I, in turn, never wrapped Santa's gifts under the tree for my children. And, now that I have two little grandsons ages one and three and one-half, my daughter does the same. When my friends realized what I did, they wish that they had started the tradition with their children.

My parents always had a separate supply of wrapping paper that Santa used. I never noticed how much Santa's writing looked like my mother's on the gift tags, though. :P

Santa used to wrap presents but recently has been using the prettiest bags with plenty of fluffy soft tissue papers. I heard they go on sale from July to September in the North pole.

lol. now that you know, an answer wont do much. but i dont think santa wraps gifts. i think he hires little helpless elves to wrap gifts, and that is why hes so fat. although i dont know how working with hands has much to do with being fat, but oh well. i just think santa pays the little elves a minimum wage to wrap gifts for him. thats all, folks!
