My X, said he considered cheating only when you had sexual contact with someone other then your individual you are committed to, so called committed I say. That is why he is that XXXXXX! When you find yourself lying and deceiving one another that is cheating. Not allowing full discloser of events that might effect your relationship. (Negatively)

Any inappropriate contact with a member of the opposite sex that would make it seem like your getting hit on. Engaging in anything such as this is disrespectful to your mate. If someone you know were to see you, what conclusion would they draw?

I once had the owner of a coffee shop give me change for my purchase looking me dead in the eye and as she removed her hand from mine, she dragged her fingers and nails across my hand. A shiver went up my spine and she stated "I've seen you in here frequently and wanted to know if you would like to go out?". I said "thanks, but I'm married." Her retort was "And the issue is....?" I smiled and left. I never returned out of respect to my wife.

She was gorgeous, tall, well-off and I would have gone after her had I been single. But I wasn't. If you don't uphold your commitments, you have to live with the consequences. It was easier for me to walk away than to try get away with cheating.

At your first meeting or few after both parties must sat their standards for each other and be very CLEAR that what really disturb them, and ask from partner to respect it.

For example I know that many partners they dance with other, or kiss others. This must be said at beginning.

OR many partners they consider as cheating if other 'touches' and commence private communications with 'stranger' or even their 'friends' without their knowledge.

IN the other hand there are many partners that really they don't care and would say that in their words 'Oh! you can go with him/her if you like! " then where is a complaint of cheating?

I heard this once, it seems like a good general guideline--would you feel comfortable doing what your doing with someone else if your mother or significant other was standing there watching? If not, you are in the danger zone.

You are sooooo right. If your partner is lying to you, hiding things from you etc....than they aren't there with you in your heart...and that is cheating you.

if he didnt feel for or do anything with this other girl, then it isnt cheating. if he lies to you about where he is at one night and he is smoking weed with his friends instead or some ****. then it is lying. not cheating. thats why they are two different words.

Anything, sexual or otherwise, that you share with someone who is not your partner is cheating.

being with someone else (and wanting to go out with them) regardless of what you are doing, sexual or not, instead of your boyfriend or girlfriend, is cheating. it isn't always about sex.
