Of late, if you see, Indian record, they have either won ODI or test matches.
In Pak we lost, the test series but won ODI.
In WI, we won test series and lost ODI.
IN India, aga. england, we square off the test and won ODI.

Looking to this scenario, I have no doubt in my mind that India will test series against South Africa.

Indian players have been out of form, but the saying is Class is permanent and form is temporary. I am convinced that India will bounce back in test series.

we have to look into the entire thing practically. The reality is tht the indian ws not able to play all 50 overs in none of the ODIs played in SA this year. This has raised some serious questions about the batting technique of our top order.
But what i feel is that if the indian team includes experienced campaigners like laxman n ganguly in their middle order than they do stand a chance of atleast drawing the test series. As far as winning the test series is concerned, i dont think tht the present indian team has any realisitic chances, I think its time for ganguly, kumble, dravid n tendulkar to come to the party if they wish to pose ne kinda threat to the africans.

Offlate Indian cricket team plays better in tests than in One dayers. So I would say they would fare better than in the tests but winning a test man over there would be diffcult. I would be happy even if they draaw one

India have not won any test match in South Africa till now. Rahul Dravid has stated that they will try to make record by winning test match in South Africa. Let us hope what he has stated will be
transormed to reality. Best of luck to him.
