James Packer is the billionaire son of now deceased media moghul Kerry Packer. James was ofcourse born into money. Unfortunately he doesn't seem to have inherited much of his fathers business sense or intelligence overall. To date his unending stream of mistakes has cost PBL hundreds of millions and the only talent James has revealed so far is great skill at blaming others for his stuff ups.
He can't even successfully pick a wife to carry on the line(probably a good thing). His marriage to Jodhi Meares the bikini supermodel ended abruptly after only 6 months when she divorced him and predictably took off with several million. Why he thought a supermodel would be interested in a fat ugly oaf like him for any other reason than money can only be explained by the fact that he must be an idiot.
Sometimes the apple falls a long way from the tree.

He does appear to be. A lot of his father's stuff has been sold off and he is moving it in a whole new direction. If it isn't broken why fix it. He is taking a totally different direction from his dad and only time will tell what will happen.
As for hot chicks being interested in him - money speaks to chicks - even if the guy is not pretty.
Now I don't know if it is just me or is Eddie McGuire and James Packer combined not a good combination to run channel 9. I can't believe how bad it has gotten since Kerry has died and Eddie is head dude.
