22k gold is significantly cheaper in Dubai when compared in terms of gold jewelery, as the making charges are far less, and the quality of gold is far more superior, then many countries.

Ya I think you can find good quality gold for cheaper rate in dubai usually the difference between dubai and singapore is the karats you get 22K in dubai and 24K in singapore so, if you want 22k you can get for a reasonably good price in dubai but, if you want 24K gold you better buy in singapore this is my personal experience.

Raw Gold has an international price all over the world which changes regularly according to the purity of it (The carat rating). However the difference in price is due to the cost of workmanship of golden items.

Not a chance. Dubai lives and breathes for tourism, and nothing is inexpensive. India probably has the most inexpensive gold.

Not really. I heard Golds are cheaper in Laos. But again, chepaer is often defined as per one's capacity to spend. If you have lots of money, a car costing $50,0000 like hummer would be cheaper too!
