i think the best way to get there is taking the 10 east all the way to el paso, texas and then crossing over to ciudad juarez. once you are on the other side of the border you are going to cross 5 states before you get to guanajuato...i think this is the fastest way of getting over to guanajuato or at least for me.

THE VERY BEST WAY IS TO TAKE FWY 10 EAST TO TUCSON AZ. ONCE IN TUCSON AZ. TAKE I - 19 TO NOGALES AZ. THAT IS UNDER A HOUR DRIVE.
IF YOU ARE TIRED,,, SLEEP THERE IN NOGALES AZ. AND CROSS EARLY NEXT MORNING TO NOGALES SONORA DOWN TOWARDS SIN. OR JALISCO AND FOLLOW DIRRECTIONS FROM THERE.
A PLANE RIDE WOULD BE CHEAPER UNLESS THERE MANY. BUT FOR YOU ALONE,,,, THE PLANE IS CHEAPER AND YOU WILL NOT FEEL TIRED. OR DRIVE FOR ALLMOST 3 DAYS.
BUEN VIAJE Y QUE DIOS TE GUARDE EN EL CAMINO. OJO CON LOS FEDERALES.
