Considering the fact that Israel is a secular r state and not a Jewish state, And considering the evil that the Zionist have done, is it consistent to be a Zionist and a Jew. I love Judaism but I can't say the same thing about the Zionist.

You have your facts mixed up. Israel is no more a secular state than America is, since the Christian Right has hijacked the Conservative Republican Party. And Zionism has done no evil, unless you call building a state that was promised them in 1948 by the U.N. evil. They are also the only bastion of democracy in the Middle East. Zionism is merely a form of ultra-nationalist Judaism. The terms Jew and Zionist are closer to being synonymous than opposite. A Zionist to a Jew is merely the same as a NeoCon to an American. I would think a member of an oppressed minority like yourself would understand their plight better.

One can definitely be a Jew and a Zionist at the same time. Judaism is a religion based on Jewish values, and a racial definition as well (such as African American). while Zionism is being supportive of the state of Israel. Most Jews are Zionists to some degree.

Zionist are Jews. All Jews are not Zionists. Zionism reflects the militant side of Judaism and helped form Israel.

A Jew who wanted to go back to their homeland is Zionist. Thus, a Jew can be at the same time a Zionist.

Who says Zionists have done all this evil. The have protected their people by providing for them a homeland and defending it. Other nationalists have established homelands for their people and defended the land without being called evil. Are Pakistanis or Indians evil for kicking out Britain so they could rule their own land, or for fighting to separating from each other to have homelands for their separate people? We are no different, but you call us evil for wanting what any other nation wants.

I have read documents written by Zionists. It is a radical form of Judaism, like any other Religion has it's extreme fundamental faction. My understanding of Zionists is that they want to wipe out the Arabs. I guess both sides have these people who want to eradicate the other. The rest of the Jews and Arabs are caught in the middle of these extreme groups. Terrible situation for the innocent.

Of course it's possible to be a Jew & a Zionist. Who do you think buily Israel? Zionism isn't evil, it's the Jewish national movement. Are you saying that you like Jews but that we aren't entitled to a country? With "friends" like you, who needs enemies?
