me earings r stuck!?

I got my ears peirced about 4 weeks ago, and the other day I had to get X-rays for my teeth and they made me take the earings out, but they would not come out! Has this ever happend to you, or do you know how to get them out? If worst comes to worst my dad said he is going to cut them out, plz plz plz give me another option!

What kind of piercings are they? What kind of jewelry. If you're using a captive bead ring, they're pretty hard to take our yourself if you don't have practice. Go back to your piercer and have them take it out for you. They can charge up to $5.
