I'v got one and it wont share and it picks at the dragong fish, what is it doing?

They are bast@rds like that. Mine is constantly picking on the pleco for no reason. It killed the other one that was in the tank with it.The guy that I got mine from said they should be kept alone. I see why now.

Blood parrots are loners...either you keep a pair or many or its same kind in a tank. They can grow to rather large sizes and can be rather aggresive so watch out for your dragon fish.

My huge group of blood parrots sometimes fight amongst themselves.

Would advise you to seperate the blood parrot if it is biting the dragon fish (Arowana). It is not worth injuring the dragon fish for a blood parrot

I have 3 blood parrot fish and they kiss each other!try putting your finger in front of both of them on the aquarium.

parrot fish are the compination(high bred) 2 south american cichlids which are very aggresive and are territorial with other fish when it comes to space. and dragon fish are always at the bottom of the tank so they are valnurable to get picked on by a fish that makes its nest in the rocks at the bottom of the tank .

it is a cichlid and they are just an agressive type of fish.
