I was recently awarded spousal support and was wondering if anyone knows how long it takes for them to start withholding the amount from my husbands pay, after the judges order and forms are sent in to the state???

It's usually from the date entered and forward.

It should be within 90 days of the filing of the order in just about every state.

Depends on the court system, county or state system. Why don't you check with the office of the Clerk of Court. They could give you some guidelines.

For the sake of your children and sanity, call your child health and welfare program in your county. Have your support papers in hand. Find out if they have your answer, if not, they'll lead you right.

Take care of this stressful problem now!
