Put some peas on the floor. When the mouse comes out to take a pee, whack it with a stick.

No they aren't, put peanut butter on the underneath side of the metal thing. I caught two this year with that method. Mice are one of the negative things about living next to a field. You are bound to get them every harvest. Yick!

I allow the neighbor's cat to enter my flat a couple times per week. You are right about mice being smart. They are smart enough to stay away.

try filling up a small bowl withcoca cola and put it where you think the mouse will be . it will eventually kill the mouse because mice cant burp .

Set a trap and use a small (fun-size) chocolate bar. It worked great when I had mice.
BUT DON'T DO IT if you have cats and/or dogs. Chocolate can harm and even kill pets.

If your talking about your pet mouse who got loose,bait it or run like crazy,but if its wild and you wanna catch it alive,good luck not getting bitten and dieseased.

you board up all their holes. station guards at the entrance of each hole. if it comes up, the guard shots. Oh, BTW, this means you are accepting that your house is going to be blown by the bullets!
