Water Signs are intuitive, sensitive and feel more intensely than the rest. They are emotional and nurturing and, like a river, run deep. How things feel is what matters to these folks, and they base their actions on sense, rather than on logic or intellect. Water is also about compassion and understanding, since the receptive talents of these individuals are remarkably high. Water Sign people can take in the feelings of others, process them, and put forth a plan or solution that will be conscientious to all.
Those graced by Water love to take their sense of the world and translate it into the artistic. They desire aesthetic beauty -- and for everyone to be happy as a result of that beauty. Much like still water can become stagnant, however, an inactive Water Sign person is not a Water Sign person at their best. Water Signs feel most fulfilled when they are helping others, and they do so in an enchanting, considerate and even romantic way.
Air Signs are also about communication. These individuals want to get the word out, and it's not likely to be fluff. They are alert, curious and perceptive. The world as seen by an Air Sign will be an interesting one, as their analysis and subsequent explanation (hopefully in terms we can understand) will indicate. Those influenced by Air are inventive and clever. They see all sides of the equation and are able to glean the best approach. Balance is important to these airy folk.

Personally, i don't think it is at all bizarre that you have some similar characteristics of air and water signs.
First of all, a horoscope, according to wiktionary, is actually a 'astrological forecast of a person's future based on the study of the position of the planets and stars at the moment of someone's birth'.
Hence, we can safely say that a certain horoscope associated to you isn't exactly what you are. So, it is inevitable that you may have some aspects of water and air signs.
I believe that all signs are interrelated to one another in some way or other. Therefore, Leo, being a fire sign, would also have different signs' characteristics in it.
A person is unique to oneself, no horoscope can explain that. It is simply a guide to what you would meet, but it does not imply in real life.
I hope it gives you a different perspective on what horoscopes are for.
:)

This is because u have more then One sign.
For example theres 3 main signs that make up who you are.
You have your Sun Sign which is what your familiar with.
You also have a Moon Sign, and Ascendant/Rising Sign.
I am A Gemini, Scorpio, Libra.
If you put those 3 together thats a good amount of information on who I am.
Your Moon sign deals with Emotions.
Ascendant deals with your first approach toward things or how u want people to see you.
Your Sun is the overall u.
Believe or not theres actually much more to astrology then that.

Horiscopes are something to read for fun,and are occasionaly related to your life.
You can be a Virgo, yet have the characteristics of air.
Horiscopes are ever 100% accurate,so of course no one is just like their one specific sign. The majority of your aspects may realte to Leo,but since everyone has widespread ways of how they act, of course you will relate to other things too. Possibly Leo's are compatible with some signs of earth an air as well.
Just keep in mind, since everyone is different, we can't just fit into one category.

Well, seeing as these are theories devised by people in the middle ages who didn't have the understanding of science etc that we do nowadays, you have to question the level of faith you are giving it. Have you read your horoscope, and if so, how often was it actually true? Mine never is, it is more often the opposite of what is happening than anything near the events of my life. Things like this are novelties in my experience, interesting yes, and can even be informative about the person reading them, but only in that each person reads themself into it. So don't believe every thing that these things will say, just take the stuff that actually applies to you and realize it is a coincidence!
