"The power of positive thinking" Norman Vincent Peal

Give yourself a pat on the back. There are so many people out there that seem to have it all and things are going there way all the time. Lack of self confidence can hinder your progress. Everyone has a confidence problem at one time or another. Learn to recognize fear and face that fear. Don't let others determine who you are but look at yourself and know who you are. When you walk walk with confidence, get involved in activities that build your confidence, and most of all have faith in your abilities and if you don't know how to do something, at least know where to find out how to do it.

I'd like to agree with "Here I Am" with the Holy Bible. But also suggest reading the gospel of Matthew, beginning with Chapter 5 (sermon on the mount). Also, all the letters in the New Testament (after John). They were letters that the Apostles sent to the churches to correct their messed up behaviors.

Translations that are easy to read = NIV (New International Version), TNIV (Today's NIV...updated version basically), and the NLT (New Living Translation).

My favorite is one that really helped me with not only self-confidence, but also boundaries for myself and what they should be with others. The book is called: Stand Up, Speak Out, Talk Back. I can't tell you how old it is, who wrote it, etc. Personally, I would look at your local library. They may have it. They may also have many others on this subject.

The Bible.
Especially the books of Proverbs and Psalms.
You will read about what others did, observed about life, and the good and bad of their actions will help you to see that some of your choices were good.
Some had the same consequences as those recorded and can help prevent you from making some terrible mistakes in the future.
