I asked a similar question yesterday. I'm deciding if I should major in economics (which I hate and kinda suck at but may offer more jobs) or political science (which I like and get A's in but may offer less jobs). I have a lot of credits in each but I can't fit in a double major. Do I go for what may be best in the long run (econ) or what I would enjoy the most now (polisci)??

What you enjoy doing IS the best thing in the long run. Your economics career would probably be short-lived anyway, since you'd probably be miserable doing work you don't really like. Go for what you enjoy; go Poly Sci!

I would definitely advise you to go with your passion. Your grades are direct indicators of what you are meant to do. Don't worry about finding a job because it will come. Do what you love and start to do some research into careers you can consider with a political science degree; or if you would even like to continue on with graduate school and maybe build on poltical science by doing a Masters in Public Affairs, or a Law Degree, etc. Do what you love, and don't make money your motivator. You will find your way. Plus do several career and personality assessments to assist you in locating jobs/careers that fit you. Your career center should offer some, in addition to some online free assessments you can do. If they ask for payment then just skip those, there are tons you can take for free.

you should enjoy college and enjoy what you do. i mean in the long run, maybe more jobs will open up positions. you know things change everyday. however, if it's too easy then you might want to challenge yourself. if you really need help deciding, check with an advisor on campus, they usually have alot of info to offer

don't let someone think for you , do what YOU think you can do well and will be able to enjoy.
You let someone else think for you and you will never know if you could have done better
