that is a tough call by the late 80s they were all cookie cutter bands popping out the same sort of music a few hard songs and each one had to have a power ballad
I would say its a toss up between
Bon Jovi - hair band before hair became the norm
Skid Row- Not many could match Sebastion Bach's vocal power
Motley Crue- All around good music
Metallica wasn;t a hair band.. they were a metal group.. a hair band is a band that would spend more time working with hair spray than working on the album ;p
