I am not able to play DVDS on dvd player which i installed on my G4 Apple Mac?

i recently installed a dvd for my G4 Apple Mac and for some reason the dvds wont play and i was wondering why that was, it reads them but cannot open them as a movie just the folders.

Help plz

u need a dvd decoder installed on your computer this is necessary for dvd playback so u need to go get 1
