They say it will be a waste of money. WELL THIS ENTIRE WAR HAS COST THE TAX PAYERS COUNTLESS BILLIONS OF WASTED MONEY. I would be happy if they use tax money to remove this piece of garbage from the whitehouse. and if they time it right they can remove him in time for the election so cheney cant get the presidency. All that matters is that the bush family name is tainted forever and and that he goes down in history as the president that ruined America and made the world a dangerous place.

Because Bush don't have long left and he is now a lame duck president and is limited to causing any more damage. Although, i would like to see him impeached anyhow.

The Congress of the United States granted the President the authority to conduct this war. Why is there such a short term memory loss by some people?
If you think there is a basis for Impeachment and conviction, what is it? Will Congress impeach itself too?
Do you really want Congress to start impeaching the previous President each time the power base in Congress shifts to the other party?
How about looking to the future and quit the revisionist history of the immediate past.

On what grounds is there for impeachment other than "I think he's stupid"? Let's see...

The Iraq War- We Declared a War on Terror, and Saddam was a terrorist, and since we are at war with terrorism, we went to war with Saddam. And congress is renewing the war every 30 days, better impeach them too. So the war is not grounds for impeachment.

Wire Tapping- The only calls that get tapped are ones that go out to hot spots in the world, so unless you make regular calls to Baghdad or Pyongyang you have nothing to worry about. And even if your calls were listened in on, you have freedom of speech so you can't go to jail for insulting the government. Besides, if the slight possibly that one of my phone calls gets tapped into, would help prevent my fellow Americans getting killed in a terror attack then I am all for it. So I don't see how wire tapping is grounds for impeachment either.

Bush Planned 9/11- I am not even going to dignify that with an explanation as to why it's not grounds for impeachment.

So what's left to impeach him for?

***EDIT: Unprovoked? I don't know how strong your vocabulary is but when someone who is suspected to have Biological and/or Chemical weapons is threatening you with them, that certainly is provoking and justifiable for attack.

Impeach and remove Bush. Cheney becomes President.. possibly for two subsequent terms. Sure that's what you're looking for?

Iraqis escaped Saddam's rape rooms.... only to find themselves in Abu Ghraib's rape rooms.... or shot at a checkpoint, or blown up in the Iraqi civil war by the terrorists that weren't there four years ago...

Gross incompetence is probably not a high crime or misdemeanour, though, unfortunately.

There is a very simple case against impeachment: GEORGE W BUSH HAS NOT COMMITTED ANY IMPEACHABLE OFFENSES! Why is that so hard to understand?

It isn't so much that people are making a case against impeachment.

I'ts that geniuses like you, aren't able to make a case for it.
You need something more than hate.
