(A)Western Air-conditioned Eateries
- Pizza Hut
- Swensen's
- Spageddies (Tanglin Mall and Paragon)
- there's also a nice kid friendly restaurant at United Square that even has a dedicated play area within the restaurant (sorry, can't remember the name but you should find it easily as it's the only one with a play area)
- Cantina ( Holland Road area) - family friendly Italian restaurant with large open garden area for the kids to run around in
(B)Others
- Sentosa Island - various beach restaurants & cafes
- Gillman Barracks( Lock Road) - tons of restaurants and food stalls in the big, old, imposing colonial building right at the back on top of the hill .Lots of variety ranging from romantic candlelit ones to a family friendly open air chinese seafood restaurant to various stalls - indonesian, western, indian, "Little Oven" cake shop with good carrot cake and muffins etc). If you sit in the area in the middle, you can order from several stalls and try out various cuisines simultaneously. Loads of space for kids to run about. Greenery with nice laidback ambience.
- hawker centres and food courts
Not to worry, Singapore is pretty casual with regards to allowing/ tolerating kids in most restaurants - unless it's extremely posh and upmarket ( which you'll know straightaway anyway from it's menu, location and facade).
Good luck and enjoy!

if you're local, ask them kids, bet they'll tell u McDonalds, but if you're thinking of something special rather than fast food, go to Swensens (didn't know any kid that won't loves ice-creams).
if you're a visitor to SG, try the local hawker centres or food courts, it's cheap and plenty of tasty stuff.

Most places work. Hawker centres have stalls selling food like fried carrot cake, satay or roti prata. It's usually cheap and good. Watch out though, hawker centres may be warm and they may usually be open air.
Man, all this mention about roti prata and satay makes me wish I were back in Singapore sooner.
