It is sad. I remember the one episode of Raymond where Ray went on a Sports show and messed it up. Everyone was nice, but he went back the next night and did the same terrible interview. The family started to rip on him and Peter Boyle states " Holy Crap, I could have eaten an entire box of Alphabits and crapped a better interview than you!"

Or the one where Ray and Robert are at the parents house and get into a fight and throw Bugles all over the room and the parent's walk in. The Mother yells "This is why we can't have nice things" and Peter Boyle states " No more Bugles, NOW I HAVE TO EAT FUNIONS!"

Classic humor.

TODAY is a day of mourning for me. I never saw Young Frankenstein as i don't like that kind of comedy ,but I absolutely loved him in everybody loves Raymond... he was my favorite character, I've also loved him in other shows and movies,,,, he will be missed by many especially by the cast of Raymond.... I heard a quote today from the casting of Young Frankenstein AS THEM SAYING THAT PETER WAITED SO LONG FOR THE INTERVIEW ,,, that by the time they got to him he was soooo pissed of that the producer was so afraid of him that he cast him the role,,,, NOW,, that crakes me up and I can see it happening... so long PETER you will be missed by many xoxoxox

I was sad when I heard of his passing (although I didn't know the guy personally). Young Frankenstein is one of my favorite movies and I also love him in While You Were Sleeping.

I really was sad to hear of his passing. I thought he was so funny on Everybody Loves Raymond. I really feel sorry for his family, I know they will have a rough Christmas. My prayers are with them and all the people that have lost love ones during this holiday season.

This is sooo sad, he was young! I was surprised! Does anyone know how he died? "Holy Crap!!!!" - my favorite! And he said it at the most opportune times!! What a crackup he was!! With a straight face, too!!! ooooh toooo funny, he was!

God Bless to his family!

Ya know, my husband says all the time, it's not really "Raymond" that makes the show, it's the "Parents" Doris & Peter!!!

Well i never got to see that,I wish I did when he was alive, but I loved his character on Raymond,i mean how he was so funny, and at times calm, like theres one where his breakfast is cold and doris puts it in the oven for him and he waits at the table patiently like a little kid,That I will never forget.
