The same things as everyone else: To be truly grateful for the gift of our miraculous existence and to honor that gift in everything and everyone we see. Then we will deeply know that god is not only everywhere, but is EVERYTHING . . .
God made gays and god don't make junk!

I tell you straight from the heart, and the knowledge that I have aquired straight up.
God wants from Gay people the same thing that He wants from everybody: Trust.
If you read Hebrews 11 in the New Testament, you will find that trust (called faith) is what mattered throughout the Bible.
Jesus would work in circumstances where their was faith. Where there was not, He would not work in.
Yes, I am using faith and trust synonamusly.
It's how we begin our relationship with Him, and it's how we continue to have a relationship with Him.
So be Gay or whatever. But trust God for His promises. If He has a problem with you being Gay, He will change it.
I have so much more to say about this, but I want to stay on topic.
So there you have it.

The same thing He requires of straight people, love, honor, respect, truth, compassion, charity, standing up for what is right, teaching our youth to be good citizens, being good citizens ourselves, forgiveness to those who have wronged us and asking for forgiveness to those whom we have wronged.
Human beings are human beings, no different rules for race, religion, age, ability, education, income or sexual orientation.
WE're ALL His Children! ALL not some, not whites only, not straights only, not just the rich or the better educated...ALL.
Until ALL citizens and ALL human beings are treated equally be every other human being, we as a people are ALL damned!

Pretty sure we don't have different requirements than our heterosexual brothers and sisters.
I think it boils down to:
Love your neighbor, love yourself, love God and all His creation.

God requires gay people to repent and turn from their wicked ways. God made Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve. He condemns homosexuality to the nth degree. To know the Mind of God all a person needs to do is 1) read the Bible (a good Strong's concordance by your side is a big study help) and 2)study the words and life of Jesus.
God Gets Our Attention By:
making us restless (Esther and the King)
giving us a word from others (1st Samuel)
failure and disappointment (Num. 14:26)
financial collapse (Judges 2:10-15)
a tragedy (Num.21:40)
a sickness (2 Chron. 32:22)
by humiliating us (Daniel 5:18-23)
an unusual circumstance (Ex. 3:1)
God is creator and ruler of this entire universe. Just repent and spend time alone with Jesus and soon you will get to know His voice. Spending time with the most powerful and most loving person in the universe is the best way to spend free time.

This sounds like a question asked only by a person who has already established that one has no "choice" in being gay, that it was inevitable. But one does have a choice just as one has the choice to restrain sexual urges, just as one has the choice to believe in god or not, to possible go to hell ( if there is one) or not. Homosexuals are not victims of their "percieved" sexual orientation they have the strength to be right. Unless perhaps homosexuality is mental illness, at which a homosexual truly IS a victim.
