Put the old 1.0 back. Maybe the 1.5 is defective. It could have been fried by static electricity. I assume you handled it correctly?
Does the systems BIOS detect the new card?
From your question it doesnt look like you are even powered up.
Does you laptop manual say you still have room for expansion?
Changed from single to dual processor? Maybe the power requirements exceed capacity.

Can't answer without exact specs but is your laptop capable of handling the 1.5 processor? Are the pin layouts the same (EG did you swap a intel for a AMD)?

The quick power up and off sounds like the processor regardless of everything needs to be reseated and you need to check to ensure pins are not bent. If you bend or break off a pin your processor is useless.

it particularly is a chevy isn't it? you have a melted rear easy circuit board. the seat that the sunshine bulbs sit down in is melted and has brought about a short circuit on your lighting fixtures gadget. you need to verify the two aspects. get rid of the housing then the receiver plate (bulb seat), verify how the bulbs are seated, verify on opposite fringe of receiver plate, you will see the quick, it is not hiding. circulate to the wreckers and get 2 working lighting fixtures seats. in case you circulate purchase them new, i think it relatively is $60 for each physique. good luck, have relaxing p.s. verify your brake easy change the single the brake pedal rests against,(decrease than the sprint in simple terms above your ankle on brake pedal) it must be sticking, off set or broken.

Make sure you did not knock off any of the plastic feet from teh motherboard. If you did and part of the board is touching the case, it will do exactly what you are describing.
