mamu is a hindi word that is used for fondly caling the maternal uncle. here in the film, it is used to call a stupid person funnily."mamu banana" means trying to fool someone.

mamu is an alterered version of the word mama which in hindi means Uncle. people use "mamu" when they want to address someone in fun. Also "mamu" is a word used in pun to police constables especially in mumbai and other parts of maharashtra.
