hell yes it is.
not that i would necessarily want to be a woman..... i don't know if i'd like people mentally undressing me 24/7. but being a guy is hard. you're supposed to be all successful in a career and it's up to YOU to impress the girl, ask her out, keep her interested, etc. etc. .. and you can't fall back on marrying a woman and having her support you, because it works the other way around.
as far as sex, a girl can get sex whenever she wants. it's not like that for us. to me, having sex is probably less likely than winning the lottery.
also we're not smart about sex like girls. our body tells us to have sex with any available girl... then afterwards, we realize none of that blood flow was going to our brains and regret it.
and girls DO care how we look. and unlike girls, we can't be shy, because girls only like outgoing guys.
the good thing about being a guy is you can usually be totally yourself, as long as you don't mind never having a girlfriend or having sex.
listen to all those sad songs bemoaning how a guy lost a girl... how many songs are a girl singing about losing a guy?!! none.
about makeup, appearance etc. - you girls don't have to do that stuff, you choose to because you like the attention.
finally - men have higher rates of depression than women, less friends, and women live longer ;)

Yes it is. Expectations are high. Guys must always be strong, brave, responsible, and deferential. Sensitivity and emotion are frowned upon. Plus, I have to give up my seat on the bus when I'm dead tired, just because a woman gets on.
Life is hard no matter what your gender, just in different ways.

yes it is. a lot of it depends on the guy too of course. not all of the guys can handle the responsabilities that go with being a guy. some just let the water off the backs others drown in the water instead.

i would imagine it's harder. well in highschool, for a girl, it's WAYYY easier to make friends. you can spot the guy geeks easier too. =X for guys, the only easy way would probably to be on a team sport or be funny. for girls, just be nice to everyone. the only easy part of being a guy is not being called a slut for havin too many girl "friends". they're just called "the man". also, if they're butt ugly, they cant cover anything up of accentuate features with makeup like girls. lol unless they're metro or something. guys can easily get their feelings hurt whenever another guy calls them a wuss for something. then they have to go into proving im not a wuss thing. and defending their honor, for the littlest testosteroney things.

Yes and no. Yes, as a man I'm expected to fulfill certain expectations according to society such as supporting a family, paying for the date (the first one at least), being brave and protective, etc.
And no because we can get away with being crude, loud, and being totally unladylike (duh!).... and we can write our names in the snow or on walls..... fun fun :D
