Here's one that nobody could mess up (unless you bake it for to long) and taste's delicious, a guaranteed hit with anyone! Simply go to the grocery store and buy some toll-house pre-cut chocolate chip cookies or similar (the ones that come in squares of dough that you break apart and bake) Also be sure to buy a bag of those mini Reese's peanut butter cups (the ones that are about the size of a quarter.) Now all you have to do is pack the cookie dough into a mini-muffin pan, you may want to break each dough cube in half if 1 cube seems like to much for your pan. Next hollow out a hole in the center of the dough with your thumb and place 1 peanut butter cup inside. Once all the cookies have the candy placed in the center your ready to bake them (should finish baking in less then 14 minutes) the chocolate covered peanut butter cup will melt into the cookie and the results are fantastic! You can also try covering the top of the peanut butter cup with more dough if you'd like to surprise your family and friends. Hope you enjoy this easy to make treat and have a great holiday!

A Christmas Cake
white cake mix
white frosting
candy canes
coconut
green food coloring
Its simple and easy but looks great and tastes pretty good too.
I always make the cake in a bunt pan just because its that much more feistive. frost it like always then in a air tight jar or bowl put oh about 1 cup of coconut and a few drops of the food coloring shake it up nice and well until all the coconut is covered. Sprinkle the cake with the coconut then crush the candy canes and sprinkle those on top allowing them to drip down over the bottom of the plate..
nice and simple but yet very very feistive. Have fun and Merry Christmas.

A great Christmas treat is a plate of warm chocolate cookies. Here are the instructions off the top of my head:
Mix 1 cup white sugar, 1 cup brown sugar, 1.5 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1 cup softened butter, and 2 eggs slowly for 30 seconds and quickly for another 30 seconds. Then, while mixing very slowly for 2 minutes, add 3 cups all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon table salt, and 1 teaspoon baking soda. While mixing slowly for 15 seconds, add 12 ounces of chocolate chips. NOT optional: add some love. Now use a spoon to put the dough onto 3 baking sheets to make 36 cookies. You need to bake it at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for about 11 minutes.
This is a great treat for your family, and it's pretty easy because I just recalled it from memory!

if you want easy, try Rachael Ray's Christmas fudge wreath. She made it on 30 minute meals last year. It is no fail. I know, I am no fudge expert-mine never turns out (and I don't know why as I am a great cook and baker) but this turns out.
Five Minute Fudge Wreath
1 (12-ounce) bag semisweet chocolate morsels
9 ounces (3/4 of a 12-ounce bag) butterscotch morsels
1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 (8-ounce) can walnut halves
1/2 cup (a couple of handfuls) currants
8-inch cake pan, lightly greased with softened butter
Candied cherries, red and green, for garnish, optional
Place a heavy pot on the stove and preheat it over low heat. Add chips and milk and stir until chips are melted and milk combined. Save the empty condensed milk can. Stir in vanilla and remove fudge from heat. Add nuts and currants and stir in immediately.
Cover empty condensed milk can with plastic food wrap and center it in the greased cake pan. Spoon fudge into pan around can, making sure to recenter can if it drifts.
The fudge will set up almost immediately. Garnish can only be added in the first minute or 2 the fudge is in the pan, so work quickly. Decorate your wreath with "holly" made from cut candied red and green cherries. A wreath left plain can be garnished with a pretty fabric bow when serving. Chill covered in the refrigerator and slice fudge very thin when ready to serve, a little goes a long way.

Add green food coloring to the marshmallow/butter mixture for Rice Krispie Treats. Instead of using Rice Krispies, use cornflakes. When the treats are still in the saucepan but cooled just a bit, turn the mixture out on waxed paper. Fashion the mixture into wreath shapes. Before the wreaths cool completely, put cinnamon candies (the little ones that come in cake decorating containers like sprinkles) inside some of the flakes and fold the flakes over them to hold them in place when they cool. You can tie red ribbon around the tops to hang from the tree. These travel well too.

Microwave Fudge
3 Cups semisweet chocolate chips ( or any flavor you want)
1 - 14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk
1/4 Cup butter or margarine
1 Cup walnuts ( or any kind you want)
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Place all ingredients except the nuts in a bowl.
Microwave at medium until the chips are melted, 3 to 5 minutes.
Stir once or twice during cooking.
stir in nuts
pour into well greased,8x8 pan
Place in the refrigerator until set.
This is real ez to make and has always set up for me -where other fudge didn't.

No, but I have a treat for myself when I'm around my family.
Ingredients
1 Large Bottle of Whiskey
optional extra added ingredient
1 Case of Beer
Preparation.
For those who do not wish to take in the taste of the whiskey, simply twist the cap off of the top, and pour in to a 4 to 8 ounce cup. Repeat this process as often as necessary, or until you actually feel like leaving the television to commence in conversation.
For those who wish to appear non-alcoholic, mix in a few ice cubs and a dark cola beverage. Start by putting the ice cubes in the cup, fill the glass about a quarter of a way to the top. Pour in Whiskey. Mix with a spoon, or fork, or knife. If the first drink is too strong, drink it anyway. If it is too light, pour a little more whiskey in.
If you constantly find yourself having to go back to make this preparation throughout the day, maybe you should check to make sure that you are at the correct family's gathering spot.

This is an unusual and fun treat that I made once with my family for once Yule-Tide/Christmas season-
Rock Candy!
What you need is any kind of stick (Popsicle sticks, wooden skewers, even the cute lacquered ones with the knobs are available at craft stores), sugar, water, food colorings that you feel are appropriate for the season, and peppermint flavoring. You'll need a metal pot that you can scrape and a metal or plastic stirring spoon.
Fill the pot with water and bring it to a boil. Begin adding the sugar, stirring it so that it will melt consistently. Keep this up till it reaches the consistency of syrup. Add peppermint to flavor and coloring to desired shade. Turn heat down to a simmer.
Going one at a time, dip your sticks in the mixture, letting each coat harden. Continue this until the wanted amount of candy is on the stick.
If your mixture should harden in the pot, reheat it. If you would like to make clean extra easy, use those new Reynolds Wrap Pan Liners in the pot.
Hope you like it!

OREO TRUFFLES
1 Package Oreo cookies, Finely Crushed
1 (8oz.) Package Whipped Cream Cheese
1 Pkg Wilton’s Dark Chocolate pieces (Buy at Any Craft Store)
1 Pkg Wilton’s White Chocolate Pieces, or any color (optional)
1. Crush the Oreo cookies in food processor or blender.
2. Mix the crushed Oreo cookies with the whipped cream cheese until it forms a solid ball. (Blends best if you use your hand instead of a spoon).
3. Form the mixture into 1 inch balls, or any size you like.
4. Put the balls into the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or in the freezer for at least 10 minutes.
5. Melt the entire bag of Wilton’s chocolate either in a double boiler or the microwave for 1-2 minutes. Do not add butter to the chocolate when melting.
6. Roll the oreo balls in the chocolate and place on rack to dry. Work quickly, one ball at a time, because the chocolate hardens fast! Re-melting the chocolate may be necessary about halfway through.
7. Decorate the tops with the second color. To decorate the truffles with the second color, you can use a Ziploc freezer bag as a small pastry bag. Put the melted chocolate in the Ziploc bag. Cut the corner of the bag and use the bag to pipe the second color on top of the truffles.
NOTES:
– Wilton’s also makes tools for handling the dipping and rolling of the truffles. You can also use a meat fork (two prongs). It is best not to use a regular fork.
– Instead of using a second color as decoration, you can reserve some of the Oreo crumbs in which to roll the truffles. Alternatively, you could roll the truffles in cocoa powder.
