best thing to do is think to yourself "what makes failures disable my desiring? why? does it have to be this way?" though this may not solve the problem right away it lead into empowerment which is key to taking back control of you life and getting motivated again. realize that these episodes are not forever, they subside and you can overcome them if you will it so. change your speech from "i'm failing again" to "how can i make the best of this" thereby giving yourself control over the situation rather than ascribing it to failing. this is not an instant process and does take time and the cooperation of others because, if you are in a relationship or married, it may be that the spouse is facilitating these negative thoughts i.e. criticizing cooking, appearance, smarts, etc. in that case tell them that you need them to stop so that they can help you, that this is a problem that affects both of you and the relationship and if they do not understand or do not want to comply, it might be best to reexamine the relationship.

You should realize that there will be areas where you will fail and just do your best but there are other areas where you will be better than others perhaps so enjoy those. If you are talking about in school, try getting some DMAE at a health food store and you will see it will help with concentration and memory. I use it all the time and can see a reall fifference in many areas!!

Don't give up! keep trying! don't stress out, try and relax, don't procrastinate (i should give myself that advice..) I kno it is NOT easy, but in the end, it is worth it! Try looking into tutoring, it can be very helpful. promise not to give up, u will have no future!

Find something you're good at, and if you are having trouble with that find something yyou're interested in( you don't have to be the best at it, just have to enjoy it). No one expects you to be the best, your only priority is to try your best. keep your head up!
