Yes, but not all of them. There are some PS1 games that don't play at all. Then there are some PS2 games that have little things missing, like theres no background music or a weapon doesn't work right. Majority of the games work, but there are a few that don't work completely. Hope this helps.

well i know that ps1 games work on a ps2 from experience so im 99% sure that u can play it on your ps3 : )
