Many department stores give free makeovers with advice on the best make up for you.
Some day spas actually have offers makeovers and advice for a fee and not always that expense.
You may want to check into those. But honestly, if you and your husband are happy with you without makeup, why care about co-workers opinions. If you really would like to know how you would look in makeup and like to know before you decide to use it, try a free consultation at a department store first.

First I would start out light with maybe a foundation and just accentuate the eyes. Don't forget your lips. A light color or clear is usually good for the casual 'natural' look. That usually does the trick. Go to a few department stores where they offer that kind of help and they even do makeovers but stay strong because they will try to get you to buy an arm and a legs worth of make-up. In the meantime just have lots of fun experimenting by yourself and even with your girls because they generally are your best sounding board. I continually watch shows on tv that give little make-up secrets and after about 30 yrs. I'm still learning -it's fun! One thing I must say is that I am proud of you for being comfortable without makeup. I won't even go to the curb to get my mail without it. I wish you well and hope you will avoid this monster on your journey, lady. Good luck!

Best way is to go to an Aesthetician, who is also a makeup artist, and have them give you a make-up lesson. Give some thought to why you want to wear make-up, that will help create an appropriate look.
I wear makeup to accent my features, and to look professional as a Yoga and Belly Dance Instructor and Personal Trainer.
They'll show you how to keep your look healthy, give you some some make-up tips, and provide the healtlhiest products to use for skin care and make-up, so you can still look very natural and have that healthy glow rather than the ultra made-up look which you would hate.
This way, you can wear makeup when you feel like it with confidence that you've got a look that's appropriate.
Don't wear makeup because others want you to. Do it because you want to treat yourself. You might find you want to wear makeup just for work or going out, or just occasionally. Just play with it. Make-up can be one of the fun things about beng a woman, if you approach it in a healthy way, not dictated by the magazines...
Blessings,
Rani

Yeah 13 is honestly ok, its thoroughly regularly occurring. Its cool that even even with the reality that you need to positioned on makeup you didnt go intense with it. preserving it effortless seems purely right in my opinion. i began experimenting with my moms old makeup at the same time as i replaced into 7 or 8 even with the undeniable fact that it replaced into only for relaxing. i somewhat heavily began to positioned on it out at the same time as i replaced into...11 or 12 and Im 14 now. purely because you position on makeup early doesnt recommend you ultimately end up wearing oober thick and goth. the most I do is black eyeliner, basic layer of mascara, sparkling lipgloss, and some type of eyeshadow. My favs are gold, silver, brown and red.

Make it simple. Go with an eyeliner color that is darker than your eyes. Then add a simple sheer lip gloss and should be fine. If you want to do more, add gold or bronze eyeshadow just on the lid of your eyes for a natural looking look.

The best thing to remember about wearing makeup is to remember that you don't want to look like you are wearing any. Choose colors that are close to your skin color. If you go to any mall and go to their cosmetic counter, they have people there that will help you choose the right colors for you!
Good luck

Cover Girl is a very nice brand. but get ready to pay a price. start with there foundations. thair "AquaSmooth" it really nice has just about any color to match your skin.you can add some blush.(but i dont) if you want to jazz your self just a bit more.black eye liner alone. looks good. or add a nice light eye shadow with it. and a touch up with some pink or clear lip gloss. after that your ready to go.

i like to be natural. so, i wear light foundation, some natural powder that has a little shimmer to it, light amount of red blush, and mascara.
though, for work, you could add shimmery shades of eyeshadow and eyeliner.
you should head to your mac makeup counter at your mall and get a make over. mac helps you choose foundation right for you and the artists tell you how to apply things as they are doing them. plus, mac has some amazing eyeshadow, blush, eyeliner, and lipstick shades. :]]

Maybe a little eyeliner and/or mascara to bring out your eyes and a sheer lip gloss. Enhances your beauty without being too much.
