I am thinking of switching sides, but I want to know if it will be better, worse, or the same.

First off, you can't just "switch sides". If you don't have an attraction to one sex, then no amount of trying is going to create that attraction. Now, you may be bisexual, and that is fine, but then I wouldn't call it "switching sides".
Is kissing a man different from kissing a woman? Well, kissing style, technique, and quality (wetness, force, etc.) are all very individualistic traits. I've heard say that men are very forceful, passionate, and powerful in their kissing, whereas women are softer, more delicate. But I don't think that applies to everyone; there are lots of women out there who kiss crazily, in "masculine" fashion, and lots of men who kiss just as softly and sweetly as women are supposed to. It depends on the person, as well as the circumstances, I'd say.
Moreover, if you're kissing someone you aren't really attracted to, the kiss isn't going to have that special "spark", no matter how good a kisser they are. So know that if you aren't really attracted to women, then all women's kisses will be worse than a man's. If you have some attraction to them, whatsoever, then it can be good or better than with men, once again, depending on the person.

Most definately better kissing chicks. I think it is the softness of the skin. It is so nice. I think it's also the strength in the kiss - although it can be a rough kiss from a female there is still a gentleness to it.

yep its completely different. Its allot more softer sensual and lets face it females know how to kiss and where to hold another female. And its not as easy as just switching sides you need to feel something for females. Unless your just turning tri-sexual. With whatever you choose the best of luck : )

but is knowing the fact that the person you're kissing is a boy or a girls what makes it exiting

Its funny you say that because me and my girlfriend were messing around one day and we started to talk about how are exes kissed. (yes we had a man in our life once) and she was showing me how he kissed (darting tongue) and I was showing her how mine kissed (full face wash). Than we kissed each other and to tell you we liked kissing each other more.
