Well, first of all, I'm assuming your question is: "If you ever supported Bush, but now don't; What was it that made you change your mind?"

What made me change my mind was when he signed the bill to construct a fence along the border of the U.S. and Mexico. There is something gravely wrong with this picture….. Aren’t we supposed to be tearing down walls instead of building them? In the wake of walls—both brick and mortar and imaginary—being torn down, and a new peace being cultivated in other parts of the world, America now seems to be shifting into reverse instead of progressing...

Do people honestly think that building a fence along the border is going to solve the problem of illegal immigration? Where there’s a will, there’s a way; and they will find other ways, whether it be by air, sea, or underground. The money spent on a project like this is simply a grotesque waste of money. This same money could be better spent on innovative programs such as the guest-worker program which Canada has implemented for immigrants and seems to be working very well, and this friendly program creates a favorable sentiment towards Canada among Mexicans. The best remedy would be to offer some kind of coaching or consultation program to help Mexico overhaul its legal, political and economic system so that so many Mexicans won’t want or need to leave their homes, their families and their beloved country to work elsewhere!

He has gone way too liberal. Entitlements create class warfare. When one is entitled there never is enough so there is no appreciation. The ones footing the bill by being Extorted from never receive a thank you.

Also those that get caught in the trap of entitlement have a hard time getting out of it. A moat is created around entitlement. As one attempts to work themselves into a higher standard of living, they hit it where they loss expensive benefits at a rate greater than they are earning.

They say now that if someone is still supporting Bush himself at this point they might have a mild mental disorder.

I agree with the President. Defeat is not an option.

If second place is good with you, you are a loser!
