I have been married for 4 months but have not yet changed my last name. what exactly do I have to do? where do I even start? Confused

Make a list of everything with your name of it and go from there, from drivers license too store cards..remember to take your marriage certificate to places like the government building. Also dont forget about your health cards, SIN, stuff like that. Have fun!

I lived in Ontario, it's probably the same way. Take your marriage certificate to the provincial offices for health insurance, social insurance, drivers lisence, post secondary schools ect. You'll have to get new cards and have all records of you changed from Miss So and So to Mrs. Whatever.

well I dont live in BC but I had to take my marriage license and have my name changed on my drivers license, then from there I had to take the new drivers license and the marriage license to the social serciruty office to get my new card

Take your marriage certificate to your Government agency to change your drivers licence...all your banks will need to see the certificate as well. My work also need to see it to change my paystubs.
