I assume you mean USB, not UPC port. And no, you cannot do this. First of all, firewire cables will ONLY fit into a firewire port. Period. Same with USB.

Second, sending data with USB cables is messy, slow and hard to do without the expensive software. instead, go to your local best buy and pick up a crossover cable. It's like a two directional ethernet cable. Assuming they both have Windows XP, it is very easy to set up a 100 Mbps transfer.

They both have firewire ports, so that should be no problem. UPC, Universal Port Card.
