The Thieves were boiled in oil and punished for their evil ways. They stole Indiscriminately with out compunction. They were without Honor. Ali Baba on the other hand was Honorable and stole from the thieves. He in turn saved a family that was going to be murdered and when he became rich blessed all those around him with his riches. Everybody benefited from his riches. Righteousness always wins in the end. Compare Jacob in the bible. He stole from his brother but was rewarded with great wealth and help all those who were around him.
