A good solve for this problem is fiber. Fiber is natural and won't have any effect on your pregnancy. You can try the drinks such as Metamucil, or you can do what I do and eat a high fiber cereal like shredded wheat.

When pregnant the only thing you can take without consulting your OB is Tylonel, so you need to give your OB a call. Also, increasing fiber & fresh fruits & veggies will help as many women have this problem throughout pregnancy. Try drinking more water & keep milk, eggs, cheese , bread & rice in moderation

PRUNE JUICE...it helped me out a lot. Drink a glass of it everyday and I promise you...your constipation will definitely go away. I don't think your should take any pills or anything of that matter, just to stay on the safe side. It's better to stay away from chemicals during pregnancy. Hope that helps!

Yes that is an issue in the beg. Now I would suggest first to drink lots of water. And also to eat foods that help you relieve yourself.. Such as beans. Try to do it in a NATURAL way. Its what I think because it will work our eventually.

take psyllium

it makes a nice jello if you make it with ground up ginger and honey and lemon

otherwise it tastes nasty

it will send it through you within a day or so, pretty much the same as metamucil

My doctor told me to drink apple juice. I had to drink two bottles over a couple of days, but it works.

Take metamucil daily for the rest of your pregnancy.

Take glycerin suppositories (I use the infant strength) until the problem clears up.
