I think she's the best child actress out there. Other child actors tend to not follow direction well, so i've heard, but she seems remarkably mature for her age. She's only 12 years old yet she can act and has had large roles in hit films like War of the Worlds. However, right now she's at that time in life where she's passing out of her cute phase but can't be considered attractive yet. I just pray she doesn't end up like the Olsen twins who just went downhill after the first few seasons of Full House. But then again, she's twice the actress both Mary Kate and Ashley were so who knows? I read somewhere that she already makes more moolah than Julia Roberts.

I found her adorable!!! gosh the other day I saw "Dreamer" the one about the horse, and sometimes you wonder, dream or think "Would love to have a daughter adorable as her" , I enjoyed and loved her work together with De Niro in "Hide and Seek" others answers here said she´s taking all child roles, come on!! What about the Culkin´s clan then?? this is different, she´s not taking all roles, she just fits on the roles, she deserves those characters. Finally my last comment, Dakota looks adorable together with Sean Penn in "I Am Sam" Do you think that in a future movie she should play Michelle Pfeiffer or Jodie Foster´s daugther?? For me she´lll get far like Haley Joel Osment (boy from Sixth Sense)

I think that she is an incredible actress. Some of that comes from the fact that she is somehow wise beyond her years. She never fails to impress me, not only with her work, but also with how mature and poised she is at all times. Her little sister Elle is edging in as well, and I think that if they play their cards right, both could have careers that span far beyond "child star".
