I hear people talk about it all the time on how people should stop having so many kids, that there are too many people in this world and people should hold off on having kids for about 2 years. Which i think would be interesting , if there were no babies born for 2 years, i wonder how that would effect the world, what do you people think...

Not the case in Australia, our prime minister is encouraging us to have more children, our population is dwindling, he wants us to have more children so bad that he pays $4000 to every woman upon having a baby, no strings attached, completely tax free. Then once a year, every year we get $600 per child as a once off tax benefit (which mean a xmas present of $2400 for me every year)...again completely tax free...is a nice little reward for us hard working mums i say.

Despite what people say, there is plenty of room in the world. It's just that some areas are more concentrated than others, plenty of space if you know where to look. Anyways, if things get too bad there will most likely be some sort of virus that will go around and bring down the population a bit.

The average family in America used to have 2.5 children now they have less then 1.5 kids. At some point we will have more people past working age then we will have people who are actually paying social security.
Many countries are farseeing a future crisis, and are begging people to have more children, even to the point of promising lots of financial bonuses for people who have more then one kid.
It may not look like it but our population is going to drop like a rock within the next twenty years when our aging population out age medical advances.

Population is a problem but no one is going to tell people to stop having kids. Some people have kids when they are really young and that can be a problem.

I don't think having kids for 2 years would help. I think it would be better to have a mandatory limit on kids.

I think poor, dumb ppl should stop having kids. It just causes more crime and makes the world a dumber place.
