The songs for a certain artist on my Ipod are out of order from the actual cd and seeing as it is a live cd, it works much better for me when they can play continuously through in order. when i am in itunes under my ipod, i cannot move songs up and down. does anybody know of a way i can move songs up and down? thanks.

There must be an error in the number of the tracks of the songs. You need to put them into the right order so the live album plays the right way. To change the track number connect your iPod and right click the first song from the album. Click on 'Get Info' and under the 'Info' tab find the text box underneath 'Track Number'. There you can put the right track number for the song and how many songs does the album has. Do this for every song of the album and they will be in the right order.
If this doesn't work, you might have to turn off the shuffle. Just kidding.
Hope this is clear enough and that it helps. Good Luck.
I'm glad it worked. I'm a music-in-order maniac. :D

Create a playlist for the CD in iTunes, with the songs in the correct order. Then save and play that playlist on your iPod.
Ha, gotta love how everyone who is suggesting to create a playlist is getting thumbs-down votes. You can do it in iTunes or you can create an on-the-go playlist, but either way, you're creating a playlist, and that is simply how it is done. If you have a way of just moving songs up and down on the iPod, I'd like to hear it. Geeze.

yes. you can do it by adding the song to another playlist. you do that by pressing the middle button song down until it blinks. then its on a playlist called on the go. and u just add songs to that playlist in the order you want it.

first dont have your ipod set to automatic updating, do it manually. after thats done, click the song you want to move, hold the left mouse key down and drag the mouse up and down. the song should move up and down and when you want to drop the song, let go of the mouse.
