I didn't know this, but it makes sense. Square dancing is orderly and requires some precision. And it's a lot of fun.
Maybe it is also because engineers and programmers are so fond of the quadratic equation, they will go anywhere looking for squares.

I was a programmer for 19 years and never met someone who square danced.
It sounds as if you have been to a lot of square dances to be so knowledgeable as to be able to ask this question.

ITS EASY TO LEARN AND SIMPLE STEPS TO DANCE AND MAYBE MOST OF THEM ARE USE TO USING THE T-SQUARE.(I HOPE YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT IT IS).
