I started playing the drums when I was 10 yrs old. I haven't played since 2000. I am currently majoring in music; and I need to tighten up. I never got the proper training when it came to the drums. I basically taught myself how to play and I never really used the toms because they always made me nervous. I never could keep my beat. So my question is; What is the cheapest electronic drumset that is a 7 piece? What is the brand that you suggest? Can you explain how to use the toms, any instructinal videos, or websites out there? I currently stay in Seattle any good instructors around this area? My school doesn't give lessons on drums.

check out a guitar center. ask alot of questions. maybe visit more than one in your area. it helps to talk and ask prior to making decisions.
