I don't understaind how to get the ions?

You posted it in dancing section. But I happen to know some chemistry. But could you please clarify what do you mean by "get"? Obtian in chemical reactions? Understand the physical structure? There are 3 ions of nitrogen and 6 ions of oxygen in this compound... Because oxygen is a stronger oxidant than nitrogen Nitrogen tends to lose its electrons, oxygen tends to attract extra electrons. So the nitrogen is (N3)+ and oxygen is (O6)- Just add in details, or re-post in "Homework help" section.
