It all depends on the six-year-old.

Art sets are great. Klutz activity books, beaded jewelry sets, ALEX art sets are all great.

A Build a Bear is wonderful--even if the child doesn't build it themselves, these bears are so soft and cuddly, with so many original ways to dress them up-- and they come in their own "home" box. They also have "Friends2BMade"--dolls with a similar idea.

Talk to Santa (if you are on the VIP list) and see what is on her list! That way, you know what she wants!

If a list is unavailable, get her a big box of crayons, some coloring books, some actual books, a doll (nonbreakable) and a movie (The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, etc.).

Good luck!

Give her an art set; you know, a set of washable markers, crayons, and paint, something for her to express herself with. Almost all six-year-old would enjoy something along those lines.

A cabbage patch baby or newborn. They are all different with different names even. And they come with adoption papers. They are so cute. You should get one that kind of resembles her. Hair, eyes, dimples, etc.

Whoever said art set first should get Best Answer. All my girls loved to paint or draw at that age and the more you encourage it, the brighter they'll get as they grow up.
