They discriminate against Catholics because they are Jewish founders (they ask you on their application form and they didn't offer me a job) ... maybe I'm just too over qualified hah

They used to drive me nuts. Their chicken was frequently off. Even though they're supposed to have a smart system where a computer notices when things run out, the shelves always had big gaps where things I needed should have been. Their fruit was also horrendously priced.
Redeeming features - being able to stop off there at midnight on way home from pub when there are loads of staff there stocking shelves who can help you and no queues or screaming kids. Also they always (even if there is not a big sign pointing it out) have an £8 bottle of wine selling at half price

Yup - Lord Sainsbury is a major toff living off the back of a hereditary peerage and using his wealth to exploit the honest working man in our fair country!!
Is that enough?

The Sainsbury's orange logo just seems passe and dated at the moment. Plus their target audience of advertising... using Jamie Oliver... its not "everyman" like Tesco - or treat yourself to high quality at just a little bit extra like M&S's appeal.
Its better than ASDA's though with their targetting of joe bloggs on low income imo.
