I HAVE AN H.P. DESKTOP AMD64 CPU AND WHEN I TRY TO FIND THE MAKE OF MY MOBO, I GET M.S.I. ALBACORE. HOWEVER, A SEARCH OF H.P. AND M.S.I. FOR INFO ON THIS MOBO COMES UP ZIPPO!. IS THIS MOBO A PROPRIETARY BOARD MADE ONLY FOR H.P.?? AND IF SO, WHY DON'T THEY LIST IT'S TRUE COMPONENTS AND WORKING PARAMETERS? HMMMMMM?

Yes it's proprietary.

Why not list the components? Money. Meaning, you are stuck going through them for replacement parts and support.

All name brand manufacturers do the same thing.

That's the main reason clones are so great. :)

HP sells their systems as a whole. They only provide support as a whole. You're probably not going to find information on the mainboard without a service manual. You could try parts.hp.com
