Rocky Balboa (rocky 6) will be released December 20th, 2006. Closing a 30 year span, from the original in 1976. Which was nominated for 6 oscars and won best film.

One last time Rocky rocky wants to just go the distance.
In a recent interview with Stallone. He is quoted as saying that this final installment will bring Rocky full circle, and will ring true to fans of the first movie.
He is quoted as saying his fantasy edit would have the original end and a black screen with white letters "30 years later" then Rocky Balboa begins.
Many laughs by people in theaters across the country have been counted when the Rocky Balboa trailer has been seen.
Yet, most web polls have Rocky Balboa listed as the most anticipated movie of December.

I'll be there. The Rocky movies are great, inspiring movies. If you look further it has to do with life, not just boxing matches......but you appear to be well aware of that already as you are also a fan. It should be good considering all the other garbage that's been out the last couple of years.

Rocky is a Pop Icon. I have to admit I am very interested in seeing this movie.
I mean truly - Rocky should be an old man by now and really has no business getting back in the ring. But it is not about that. Lets look at the big picture - it is about strength and determination. All Rocky knows is the ring. When you are a fighter you always wanna go that extra round.
I always heard talk of this movie being made - but I thought it would have been his son in the ring bringing back the Balboa name.

I see some questions about the movie and i can clear up at least some of them for you. Adrian has been dead for a number of years. However if a certain rumor is true, she might have a cameo There have been a number of rumors floating around about how it might all end. I was told about a year ago, that years and years ago someone (stalone or someone connected with ROCKY) said in a interview that thye had always figured Rocky would die in the ring. Well we know this is "Rocky: the final round". question is,,, in what way? one of the biggest rumors is rather or not he'll survive the fight. One set of rumors when combined says: Rocky will go into this fight knowing he has next to no chance of really winning. Rather or not he wins we dont know. But he will be severely damaged. So damaged that he will end up in a comma.. Adrian is rumored to have a cameo as an angel at this point calling him into the light. And the biggest rumor is he'll die in his manager's arms. Rather or not this is true, we'll not know till "Dec 22nd" to answer what is the release date. Also did you notice the red head in the preview? that is "Lil Marie" from Rocky (the first one) now grown up. She was supposed to be in Rocky 5 but her scene got deleted.

My boyfriend is looking forward to the movie. lol
He has been boxing and wrestling for a few years and he likes the Rocky movies. I'm considering taking him to go see it.

yeah i;ve loved all the Rocky movies and am planning on seeing it in the theaters i love seeing Sly in this role again and cant wait till it comes out its like one of the best stories ever

Of course I am. All the Rocky movies were good. The first one was GREAT. He always goes through a lull....then Adrian inspires him....the music picks up.....he starts REALLY training....the theme song blares through the theater.................

why would rocky inspire me? HE LOST THE FREAKIN' MATCH.
rocky 1 sucked. rocky 2 sucked. this rocky will suck. period!
oh and sly looks weird now with all his plastic surgery
