I do a lot of work/study on this subject: if yo need more, info (such as database hacked/ID stolen-UCLA just had 800,000 stolen/hacked) email me, i'll find what you need.
Start it with:
Identity theft; almost 10 million people are victims every year. Children and Teens have now become the targets.
The fastest growing segment of victims is childrens identities. It has become such a huge problem, that many states are now allowing people to put a ‘freeze’ on their credit reports in order to protect themselves. This allows current accounts on credit report to remain active, but no new accounts to be opened, without the consumers permission and contact of him/her. NJ just passed this law in 2006.
When you apply for a job, a rental, a mortgage and pretty much every aspect of our lives today depend upon our credit rating. It takes thousands of dollars to ‘restore’ and ‘resolve’ these issues, not to mention hundreds of hours.
Burden of proof is on the consumer.

OK. Here is my idea. Show a quick video clip of a beautiful woman dumping her garbage bag in the can. Then some wacko jumps out from behind a tree close to the garbage can, routs through the much and finds her credit card slip. He is covered in slop, but is thrilled to get that piece of paper and winks at the camera.

A housewife with four kids, or a 19 year-old struggling to get through college? A first year teacher with low income, or successful brain surgeon? These identities could be anybody's, thanks to identity theft.

Aww... Sorry Wonder. You are going to have to hire a lawyer and sue for slander.
