I kind of agree with eldor... But No one so far has read your question really...
If you don't have ABS both front and rear Should lock up when you get down on the brakes.... Front 1st !!!
If left side doesn't lock up with right side it might need the caliper work or its your Master cylinder ....
I lean towards the Master cylinder...
But again would need more info here...
Did you have work done on the right side replacing the Rotor on the right side and just turning the Left rotor??? If your system was flush good when you did the front brakes last time and you have a NEW rotor on the right front and 1/8 to 1/4 shaved rotor on the right can cause this also using the same size pads...
Most people think if your pads match both sides rotors don't matter but they do...
Last if the caliper Sticks open (((Like your still on the brakes))) or hanging up without releasing after you have removed your foot from the pedal That is your Caliper sticking...
Good Question But get someone to test drive it with you and talk to them about what you've already done even if it was done a year ago...

Your caliper needs rebuilt as it is sticking. YOu can either buy one rebuilt or do it yourself. All ya got to do is remove the caliper,pry the boot dust covers off with a screwdriver and blow the pistons out using a thin piece of wood to keep one from popping out first on the lip of it(where the inboard shoe was located) Inside is a rubber ring ,pull it out and replace them using a little brake fluid for lube You can push or drive the pistons back in using a screwdriver (lube the pistons too so they slide easier) Use a big socket to press the boot dustcovers back on (It should be as wide as the dust cover and pound them in(about 3 hits with a hammer to make sure they are pressed in evenly. This is how we repaired them on the line at Delco /Delphi. Then reinstall caliper and bleed

i agree with calliperman but there's a couple of things that i all ways check when this sort of problem crops up that is Tyre condition is it the right the same as the left.The brake hose condition a collapsed hose can cause a caliper to stick on and lock up and finally general disc and pad condition.just a couple of extras to look at be for you rip it appart

I have a 86 IROC Camaro and it doesn't have ABS, I don't know if yours has it or not. Chack the brake pads and disc for any problems, if it not that seek help at a garage or dealership.
